This update for ESX Server 2.5.2 allows the use of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4.0 Update 2 as a guest OS. The update consists of two parts:

• A driver disk providing a BusLogic SCSI driver.
• An updated version of VMware Tools for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4.0 Update 2.

Download both of these items and use them as described below to install Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4.0 Update 2 as a guest OS on a virtual machine.

Note: The driver disk is only supported for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4.0 Update 2. This version of VMware Tools has been qualified on version 2.5.2 of ESX Server. It will be qualified on future versions as they become available.
