BT, a leading provider of communication solutions, is jumping into the virtualization pool, powered by grid computing.

Services offered by BT, such as the VPG (virtual private grid) platform, will be based on GridXpert and Synergy technology.  BT will be working closely with United Devices for their expert knowledge centered around grid computing and to help with the scalability that UD can provide.

BT is realizing that there are challenges to be faced, such as the question of licensing that virtualization brings to the table.
