Industry’s First Streaming Software Solution for Thin Clients and Virtual Desktops

SAN JOSE, Calif. – 03/14/2006 - Wyse Technology, the global leader in thin computing, today announced the general availability of Wyse Streaming Manager, a component of its comprehensive software suite designed to bring advanced new thin-computing features and benefits to users in the enterprise market. Wyse software solutions extend the thin-computing value proposition — greater cost efficiency, reliability, manageability and security — across departments in organizations of all sizes.  

 "Wyse Streaming Manager (WSM) delivers to users a full featured desktop software environment for thin computers. WSM key features are Windows Server-based services that independently stream the operating system and applications, an easy-to-use image-creation tool for IT administrators to create and deploy operating system images, an application packager that allows IT administrators to create and deploy application images, and a centralized web-based management interface.
