As we discussed yesterday, Altiris officially launched their Software Virtualization Solution (SVS) today.  Interestingly enough, they also announced a free for personal use only license that is made available for download at www.tucows.com and www.download.com.  This exhibits their confidence in the product by being able to offer it for free for personal use, believing that it will lead to product recognition as to the benefits that it will provide that user in an enterprise environment.  Check out their Web site for more information on the product and give it a try at one of the two download areas above.
