OpenOSX released WinTel 2.1.2 - it is a GUI application used to control the open source PC emulator QEMU. The version is updated with an Intel-native version of QEMU, which makes it possible to install and successfully run PC based operating systems on a MAC. WinTel costs as little as $25 and comes bundled with a number of different Linux operating systems. The new version, when installed on an Intel-based MAC (as opposed to PowerPC based MACs) will run considerably faster and can operate Microsoft Windows XP in a much more usable way. Although, you still need to purchase your XP OS license, as the product only comes with Linux derivitives.
