Application Deployment Strategy For A Health Insurance Company - creation and implementation of a new deployment architecture for a third-party software application resulting in a significant reduction in the cost and errors associated with software releases and updates.
Data Center Service Request Management System For A Major Financial Services Firm - defined a streamlined process and developed an automated system to manage data center service requests using the clients existing help desk software application resulting in improved customer service levels.
Partner Accounting System For A Large International Law Firm - replaced an antiquated business process using spreadsheets with an automated Web-based solution resulting in improved reliability, availability and serviceability of the firms partnership accounting process.
PC Refresh - Matlen Silver was engaged by a large financial services firm to manage and implement a large-scale PC refresh. The project involved refreshes or replacement of over 6000 desktops/laptops located at 3-major sites and over 40-smaller sites with in a 12 to 18-month timeframe. Matlen Silver developed the project/program plan for this activity and was responsible for the coordination of purchasing the hardware and software, data transfer, rollout and future program support of the systems. Matlen Silver's role in this project was critical to delivering ahead of schedule saving the client nearly $2-million compared to their initial budget.
