Quoting from Juice
Now that the SVS SDK is freely available, how about a real life code sample from a cool tool that's already being used on thousands of machines around the world?! Better yet, how about all of the source code? And an invitation to participate in future development!
When Altiris Software Virtualization Solution (SVS) was still in beta last fall, LordJeb Software created an alternative user interface for SVS end users called Trinket. Trinket is a small program that displays an icon in the system tray and allows users to manage their Virtual Software Packages. Users can perform a variety of SVS tasks quickly, including activating, deactivating, and resetting their software. You can even control which layer actions are made visible in the UI.
Now LordJeb has turned Trinket into an open source project! The project is posted to SourceForge at http://sourceforge.net/projects/trinket. Developers can download the source code and contribute changes back to the project so everyone can benefit. Trinket source is made available under a BSD-style license so that you are under no obligation to publish the source code of your derivative works.
Check it out! Be part of the SVS revolution!
