Surgient, the leader in virtual lab management applications for automating software demo, test and training labs, today announced that Avis Beiden, president of AdeptMinds Learning
Corporation, and Guy MacNeill, director of product marketing at Surgient, will deliver a live Webinar, titled "Why Virtual Training is Better than Classroom Training ... (At least it should be!)," on Wednesday, August 23, to explain the benefits of using virtual training to deliver high-impact learning programs to a global audience. These benefits are especially apparent for training on computer software applications.

Guy MacNeil, director of product marketing, Surgient

Register at: http://www.surgient.com/news/webinars/20060823.html

Who should attend:

  • Vice Presidents of Services and Education
  • Directors of Training
  • Training Managers
  • Lead Instructors

Attendees will learn how to use virtual classrooms to:

  • Lower delivery costs
  • Broaden student reach
  • Increase knowledge retention.

"Physical classroom training is the preferred method for delivering software training today," said Beiden. "Unfortunately, it can be very expensive, inflexible and resource intensive to deliver hands-on software labs due to classroom and computer setup, testing,  troubleshooting, packing, shipping, travel, etc. Virtual training is one of the most effective new ways to deliver high impact learning programs to a global audience."
