AppStream Launches New VAR Partner Program

AppStream, Inc., a leader in on-demand application deployment and management, today announced that the company has launched a new VAR Partner Program.  The first value added resellers to join under the new program are Async Associates, a Michigan-based IT solutions integrator and ProSys Information Systems, a customized IT solutions integrator headquartered in Norcross, Georgia.

AppStream is building the VAR Program network into a worldwide group of accredited resellers who are authorized and trained to provide customers with AppStream technical support and products.  Members of AppStream’s VAR Partner Program are authorized to resell AppStream products, use the AppStream name and logo, as well as benefit from co-op advertising and exclusive lead referrals for their territories. AppStream VAR partners also gain extensive visibility in the market via the AppStream web site and joint press releases. In addition, VAR partners will be able to leverage the industry-leading expertise of AppStream’s sales engineers and field sales support.

“AppStream VAR partners like Async and ProSys have embraced the value proposition of tapping into profitable new market opportunities in on-demand software distribution and software license management,” said Brad Rowland, vice president of marketing, AppStream.  “Additionally, by expanding our partner portfolio and offering leading-edge solutions that solve real business problems, an AppStream VAR can strengthen relationships and grow revenue within their existing customer base.”

AppStream and Async Associates will be working together to market AppStream’s streaming and license management technologies to the K-12 education vertical market. Facing tight budgets, schools benefit significantly and immediately from AppStream products by cost-effectively and efficiently managing software distribution and licensing.

“AppStream is a superior technology that will enable Async to bring on-demand solutions into the education market and help institutions efficiently deploy their licenses and cut IT costs,” said Tom Cecchini, sales manager, Async Associates. “We are committed to providing the best overall solution for schools, and AppStream is a vital component of our solution offering.”

ProSys offers its clients assistance with professional services, IT infrastructure services and e-Commerce application development. With this agreement, AppStream will become part of the comprehensive IT solutions used by ProSys to support the demanding requirements of Fortune 1000 businesses.  Such companies demand best in class technologies supported by the highest caliber IT professional services that understand how to assess, acquire, design, implement and manage all their IT hardware and software needs.
