Surgient Receives InfoWorld 2007 Technology of the Year Honors

Surgient, a leader in Virtual Lab Management Applications for automating software demo, test and training labs, today announced that InfoWorld Magazine named the Surgient Virtual QA/Test Lab Management System (VQMS) as the 2007 Technology of the Year Award winner for Best Virtual Lab Automation Platform. Surgient VQMS was hand-picked by InfoWorld's Test Center analysts and editors from a pool of more than 230 products reviewed by the publication in 2006.

Surgient VQMS was one of 41 products representing, "the best and most innovative in their class," states InfoWorld's editorial staff. VQMS enables organizations to centrally manage and automate the deployment of complex software testing environments. In the 2006 product review, Surgient VQMS received a score of 8.0 from InfoWorld's Andrew Binstock who called it, "...a capable, enterprise-scale lab automation solution." According to InfoWorld's editorial staff, Surgient VQMS earned a 2007 Technology of the Year Award for Best Virtual Lab Automation solution as, "an extensive, enterprise-scale solution with excellent capture and replay capabilities."
