Acronis Announces Support for Microsoft Vista

Acronis, Inc. (http://www.acronis.com), the technological leader in storage management software, announced that it will fully support Microsoft's latest operating system, Vista, with its products for desktop operating systems, including its flagship Acronis True Image 10 Home and Acronis True Image 9.1 Workstation.

"Acronis has a long history of supporting all Microsoft operating systems and fully intends to continue that tradition," said Walter Scott, CEO of Acronis. "Microsoft is an important partner of Acronis and we are proud of our long history and relationship. Acronis was part of Microsoft's launch of Virtual Server 2005 R2. We fully intend to continue our close relationship with its future desktop and server operating systems."

The Acronis True Image family is a comprehensive data and system protection solution for networked and standalone desktop PCs and laptops. Acronis True Image allows you to create an exact disk image of your workstation hard disk, including the operating system, applications, configuration files and all data, and to backup mission-critical systems. The product works equally well with physical and virtual systems.

After a system crash, Acronis True Image allows you to perform a full system restore, a bare-metal restore or just a restore of individual files and folders in minutes. Complete system restoration can be performed to an existing system, to a new system with different hardware or to a virtual machine.
