Wyse Technology Launches Safest, Fastest and Thinnest Thin Client Yet

Wyse Technology, the global leader in thin computing, today announced the availability of the Wyse V10L, here at the Gartner Symposium/ITxpo 2007. The Wyse V10L delivers excellent performance, ease of use and expansion capabilities on a thin computer, while enabling users to leverage any application or desktop virtualization environment.

What makes the Wyse V10L unique is its performance and simplicity. It comes with standard built-in support for Citrix(R) Presentation Server and Microsoft(R) Terminal Services, as well as desktop virtualization capabilities for Citrix, Microsoft, and VMware(R) products. The Wyse V10L also supports leading OS and application streaming technologies, providing
users with flexible deployment options for delivering applications.

"The Wyse V10L is designed and tailored to easily enable virtualization, whether it's based on presentation, application, or desktop methods," said Tarkan Maner, President and CEO of Wyse Technology. "It sets a new standard for what's possible on a thin computer because of the tight integration with our Wyse Thin OS, the fastest and thinnest operating system for thin computing, also provided by Wyse. The end result for customers is a richer, more fulfilling 'PC' experience without compromise, on a flexible thin computer at a fraction of the price."

Powered by the new VIA Eden C7 processor, the V10L utilizes the latest and most powerful version of Wyse Thin OS (WTOS), which at around 1MB in size is among the fastest, easiest to manage and most secure thin-client operating systems.

"Wyse has always been a leader and innovator in thin computing and the V10L is no exception," said Chris Fleck, Vice President of Platform Development for Citrix. "The Wyse V10L integrates with our Application Delivery Infrastructure allowing customers to leverage their existing IT assets while taking full advantage of the cost, security and manageability
benefits associated with thin computing."

The Wyse V10L includes high-resolution dual monitor support, giving users the ability to connect two displays simultaneously. In addition, the V10L has three USB 2.0 expansion slots to provide flexible peripheral support including mass storage, now standard with the release of WTOS 5.2.  All these enhancements facilitate a proven increase in productivity, without compromising the reliability, affordability, security, and simplicity of Wyse thin computing solutions delivered by the market leader. The V10L is an excellent desktop solution for data-intensive environments such as those used in the document management, financial services, medical care, and research industries, with support for Citrix, Microsoft or VMware
technology architectures.

"VMware Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) and Wyse's thin computing technologies complement each other nicely to deliver high-impact desktop management to customers," said Brian Byun, Vice President of Global Partners and Solutions at VMware. "The Wyse V10L thin client enables customers to quickly and easily deploy virtual desktops with the enterprise-class virtualization platform from VMware designed to enable them to realize value faster."

The V10L is the latest thin client from Wyse Technology. According to a recent report from Gartner Inc., "Wyse Technology was the number one supplier to the worldwide thin-client market in 2005, garnering a 38 percent market share. The vendor also ranked number one in both North America and Western Europe, accounting for almost 39 percent of the market
in the former and more than 32 percent in the latter."

The Wyse V10L is shipping immediately for $349 and completes the company's V-class product line. This product line includes models based on Windows CE, XP Embedded, Wyse Linux and now the Wyse Thin OS operating system.
