BladeLogic, Inc., a provider of leading next-generation data center automation software, today announced that Wind Telecommunications, one of Europe’s leading telecommunications companies, has selected BladeLogic’s award-winning suite of data center automation solutions to automate all of the management processes across its virtual and physical server infrastructure.
Wind completed a thorough, eight month evaluation process where the leading data center automation solutions were tested for granularity across platforms, depth of functionality, ease of use and the ability to integrate with other data center software. BladeLogic was selected due to its flexible, real-time architecture, its unified management of virtual and physical server environments, and its ability to easily integrate with Wind’s existing monitoring and asset management solutions. By using BladeLogic across virtual and physical server environments, Wind expects to increase operational efficiency through better visibility, consistent enforcement of corporate polices and a standardized approach to applying changes.
