Gilles Vollant Software updates WinImage to version 8.10.

It contain these feature:

• acquire a physical disk and create a VHD or VMDK file
• convert disk image file between VHD and VMDK (vmware) format.
• compatibility with VMware VMDK Disk image.
• fixes for Windows Vista compatibility problem. 

For both operation (acquire or convert, you select between VHD and VMDK, and you can create a fixed or dynamically expanding file.

WinImage can browse NTFS, FAT and Linux partition on both image.

Richard Cardona sent in the news and he said that he was able to use this latest tool to actually do a Virtual to Virtual (V2V) conversion from a VMware VMDK file to a Microsoft VHD.  Thanks for the info!
