Wipro Infotech, the India, Middle East and Asia Pacific IT business wing of Wipro said it has agreed to resell US-based Egenera Inc's full suite of products and emerging IT sales opportunities in India.  Although the financial details were not disclosed.

'The alliance with Egenera is very valuable for Wipro because it is an association that will yield multifold benefits for our enterprise customers,' Anand Padmanabhan, vice president of Technology Infrastructure services, Wipro Infotech, said.

Egenera is best known for developing a computing architecture – the patented Processing Area Network (PAN) – designed to reduce data centre complexity, resulting in agility and availability.
