The KVM Developer Community is happy to host the first ever KVM Forum. The purpose of the forum is to bring together developers, testers and other technical individuals from within the community to discuss the state of KVM today. We will also review and shape the future roadmap of KVM, examine development challenges, and agree on modes of collaboration needed for common development.
Hypervisors are complex beasts. The fact that KVM is developed by a distributed development team with people on six continents, working on a 24X7 basis, across 24 time zones amplifies the difficulty of the task at hand. Regular face to face meetings facilitate the development and overall quality of KVM.
If you are a KVM developer, or thinking about joining the growing ranks of the KVM Developer Community, the place to be is Tucson, Arizona on August 29th - 31st, at the Loews Ventana Canyon Resort.
Many of the world’s top LINUX kernel developers will gather to discuss the state of the union on KVM and virtualization technology in general. More specifically, the group will plan the technology roadmap and future of KVM.
The KVM Forum will give developers an opportunity to update the community on the work that they are doing and coordinate efforts for the betterment of KVM.
