MS Database Management Solutions Joins SWsoft’s Parallels Partner Program
SWsoft, maker of Parallels’ award-winning desktop virtualization software, announced today that EMS Database Management Solutions, Inc. has joined the Parallels Partner Program’s ISV Initiative.

The Parallels ISV Initiative enables Windows-only software vendors to quickly and easily extend their reach to the fast-growing Mac and Linux markets by incorporating Parallels virtualization software. Software vendors receive streamlined application compatibility testing, technical support, sales support and co-marketing opportunities. The Parallels Partner Program provides customized access, tools and resources to technology, services and channel partners to help them drive customer acquisition and increase revenue.

EMS' flagship solution, SQL Manager, is a Windows-only, complete solution for database administration and development. By joining the Parallels Partner Program’s ISV Initiative, EMS had now made SQL Manager available to both Mac and Linux communities through SWsoft’s desktop virtualization software, including Parallels Desktop 3.0 for Mac and Parallels Workstation 2.2 for Windows and Linux.

"Mac and Linux platform users are promising audiences for our products," stated Vladimir Sokolov, President of EMS. "SWsoft and its Parallels software offer us the chance to make our products available for these operating platforms in a straightforward and hazard-free manner."

"SWsoft's Parallels Partner Program is a great opportunity for companies like EMS to reach new customers," said Bryan Goode, Parallels’ Director of Business Development. "We've received an overwhelming response to our ISV Initiative as software developers and users alike realize the benefits of desktop virtualization."

EMS’ SQL Manager is also now available on SWsoft's Parallels Virtual Appliance Directory, a popular resource for ISVs to promote and redistribute applications that have been tested for compatibility in Parallels labs.
