Available in late Q4 2007, RestartIT-VDR and the continuity version, RestartIT-HA, will allow SMBs the ability to remotely recover mission critical business systems quickly and cost-effectively in the event of a disaster or outage. With RestartIT-VDR, an image of a client’s server hard drive is maintained in AmeriVault’s virtual server environment. In the event of an outage, the client remotely initiates data recovery from the AmeriVault data vault to the newly created virtual machine. End users are re-routed to access applications and resume business functions.
