DataSynapse, Inc., the global provider of application virtualization software, has been recognized by Financial-i as the leader in virtualization solutions for the financial services industry. The accolade was extended through the magazine’s annual Leaders in Innovation Awards for 2007.

The awards are decided by an industry advisory panel comprised of leading analyst firms and consultants covering the wholesale transaction banking markets, including Celent, TowerGroup and Bloor Research. They commend those banks and IT vendors that are shaping the delivery of business solutions in the financial services industry.

Judging criteria focused on product innovation during the last 12 to 18 months, cost effectiveness of solutions in terms of implementation and deployment, potential business benefits, ease of implementation and the ability to tackle specific business issues or problems.
