Fujitsu Computer Systems Corporation today announced a technology partnership with Citrix, the global leader in application delivery infrastructure. As part of the agreement, Citrix will provide support for Citrix XenServer Enterprise Edition running on the Fujitsu PRIMERGY(R) RX300 S3 server, and the two companies will collaborate on future products. Citrix has also certified the PRIMERGY RX300 S3 Server for XenServer Enterprise Edition.

Citrix XenServer Enterprise Edition runs in Linux(R) and Windows(R) environments, making high-performance server virtualization affordable and easy-to implement for every business. By virtualizing their data centers, organizations can increase server utilization, lower IT hardware costs, and improve operational agility. With XenServer Enterprise running on the PRIMERGY RX300 S3 server, customers can confidently use server virtualization to cost-effectively scale their infrastructure with greater flexibility and reliability, and with the assurance of 100 percent compatibility with XenServer technology.
