’s latest Storage Study. TheInfoPro is a New York-based independent research network and leading supplier of market intelligence for the Information Technology industry.
TheInfoPro conducted one-on-one interviews with storage decision makers at over 150 Fortune 1000 companies, asking if they were currently using a Virtual Tape Library, who they were using, and who they were considering installing. The FalconStor Virtual Tape Library was cited by more than 40 percent of the interviewees.
“The FalconStor VTL solution, whether sold directly or by OEM partners, is clearly the most highly cited in use and under consideration VTL solution within F1000 organizations,” said Robert Stevenson, managing director at TheInfoPro. “Among the more that 150 companies interviewed the FalconStor VTL is the clear leader with installations at 25 percent of the enterprises, with another 15 percent of the participants planning on installing it.”

References to the FalconStor VTL referred to the product as sold either in the channel or through an original equipment manufacturer.
