Thinsy Corporation today announced the immediate availability of a new version of their EnSpeed VMM with LiveSync, a Xen based Virtualization Server that uses Peer-To-Peer disk synchronization technology to eliminate the need for SAN or NAS external storage. This new version adds support for Live Migration of VMs running on EnSpeed VMM servers that use Direct Attached Storage.
LiveSync Peer-To-Peer storage technology enables Enterprise Grade features such as High Availability Backup VM Server with Automatic Failover and Live Migration. The EnSpeed LiveSync technology is also compatible with other standard Linux distributions such as RedHat 5.1 and CentOS 5.1. LiveSync may be installed as an rpm on these systems.
In addition to adding Live Migration capabilities to EnSpeed VMM, Thinsy Corporation also announced the availability of a new version of EnSpeed VM Orchestrator, their Virtual Machine Management Server that provides an intuitive web browser GUI for managing LiveSync VM Servers. The EnSpeed VM Orchestrator has been enhanced with a Web User Interface to Live Migration, support for Virtual USB Mouse and support for Virtual SCSI drives.
