Xsigo Systems Inc., the technology leader in I/O virtualization, and Eutelia with its commercial brand Eunics for information and communication technology solutions and services, today announced a reseller agreement to offer virtualization solutions in the Italian enterprise IT market. The two companies will create joint solutions and services offerings that help customers virtualize their server infrastructures in order to simplify management and increase server utilization in large data centers.

Eutelia is one of the leading Italian providers of ICT (Information and Communication Technology) solutions and services. Eutelia will be integrating Xsigo with VMware and other virtualization technologies to create solutions that reduce costs and increase agility for a broad range of customers across government and industry.

The Xsigo I/O Director overcomes the limitations of traditional server I/O by virtualizing the connections to networks and storage, allowing IT managers to provision resources on-the-fly and without physically entering the data center.
