SAVVIS, Inc. (NASDAQ:SVVS), a global leader in IT infrastructure services for business applications, announced today that Jonathan Crane is stepping down as President of SAVVIS on March 1, 2008, and will transition to a strategic advisory role through May 2008. Crane has resigned from SAVVIS
’ Board of Directors effective February 1, 2008. Additionally, the company announced it has aligned its sales and marketing teams under the leadership of executives Paul Goetz, SVP
– Sales Americas, Jim Mori, SVP
– Client Services and James Whitemore, Chief Marketing Officer, all of whom will report directly to Chief Executive Officer Phil Koen.
Goetz, a seasoned sales leader and veteran of nearly 20 years with EMC Corporation, joined SAVVIS in late 2007 and will continue to lead the US sales efforts. Mori, who joined SAVVIS in 1999 and has held a variety of sales leadership and operational roles, will continue to lead the integrated global customer support teams. Whitemore, who joined SAVVIS in June 2007 after serving as Chief Marketing Officer for Sun Microsystems’ storage products, will continue to lead product management, strategic alliances, advertising and public relations globally.
