Jonathan Crane Announces Resignation from SAVVIS
SAVVIS, Inc. (NASDAQ:SVVS), a global leader in IT infrastructure services for business applications, announced today that Jonathan Crane is stepping down as President of SAVVIS on March 1, 2008, and will transition to a strategic advisory role through May 2008. Crane has resigned from SAVVIS Board of Directors effective February 1, 2008. Additionally, the company announced it has aligned its sales and marketing teams under the leadership of executives Paul Goetz, SVP Sales Americas, Jim Mori, SVP Client Services and James Whitemore, Chief Marketing Officer, all of whom will report directly to Chief Executive Officer Phil Koen.

Goetz, a seasoned sales leader and veteran of nearly 20 years with EMC Corporation, joined SAVVIS in late 2007 and will continue to lead the US sales efforts. Mori, who joined SAVVIS in 1999 and has held a variety of sales leadership and operational roles, will continue to lead the integrated global customer support teams. Whitemore, who joined SAVVIS in June 2007 after serving as Chief Marketing Officer for Sun Microsystems storage products, will continue to lead product management, strategic alliances, advertising and public relations globally.

Commenting on this alignment, Koen said, This newly aligned team has the all the breadth and capabilities to strengthen our sales, marketing and customer service as we pursue our many market opportunities. This line-up positions us well to drive for outstanding results in the future.

Koen continued, Jonathan was central to our efforts over the last two years to re-establish SAVVIS strategic direction and value and we are all deeply grateful for his leadership and vision. His contributions to our sales and marketing efforts were immeasurable and his counsel to our team will be valued and appreciated. SAVVIS now has a stronger balance sheet and with a business strategy that is proving itself in the marketplace, and we have aligned our new team to focus on our two priorities: serving our customers superbly and winning new customers to our value proposition. As he transitions toward new opportunities, we wish Jonathan well in all his endeavors.
