Voltaire Ltd. (NASDAQ: VOLT), a leading provider of grid backbone solutions for the data center, today announced that it has renewed the company's OEM contract with IBM through 2010 and introduced two new products into the IBM BladeCenter product portfolio.

IBM now offers a pass through module that interoperates with Voltaire InfiniBand DDR and a host channel adapter with Voltaire GridStackT software as an interconnect option for IBM BladeCenter.  The IBM pass through module is the only 20 Gigabits/second I/O module currently available in the IBM BladeCenter portfolio and the only 20 Gigabits/second blade I/O module in the industry that leverages Voltaire's unique InfiniBand pass through design.

The Voltaire products provide high bandwidth, low latency connectivity for IBM blade servers, creating a solution that is ideal for scaling out and virtualizing data center infrastructure.
