Vizioncore has released a minor dot release to its enterprise-level virtualization monitoring solution, vCharter Pro 3.0.1.  Key improvements include enhanced platform support and a significant number of bug fixes.

Along with miscellaneous bug fixes, the update includes:

• Oracle Database Support - The 3.0.1 version of vCharter Pro now supports installation with an external Oracle database. vCharter Pro supports Oracle database versions 9i or 10g.  While a MySQL database is the preferred (and recommended) installation method, some larger companies prefer to leverage their existing Oracle infrastructure.
• Support for 64-bit Windows - The 3.0.1 version of vCharter Pro now supports installation on the 64-bit version of Windows Server 2003.  Running vCharter Pro on 64-bit Windows is expected to significantly improve performance.
