Tek-Tools Software, a leading provider of IT resource management software solutions, today announced increased demand from service providers for its Profiler Suite to create new managed services offerings. Several channel partners leverage Profiler for server, storage, backup and application management professional services. Now that the company has added virtualization management to its repertoire with the launch of Profiler for VMware earlier this year, channel partners have started to build managed services offerings with the virtualization management software as the engine for new managed services offerings. Today, long-time partner GlassHouse Technologies announced its new suite of Managed Services for Virtual Environments leveraging Profiler for VMware (see press release “GlassHouse Launches World’s First Suite of Managed Services for Virtual Environments at VMWorld 2008” dated September 15, 2008).
