Now in its third year, the UK's biggest IP Network event, IP’08, is co-locating and combining with virtualization technology to bring to the UK its first ever Virtualization Expo event called VM'08. The event will be the UK’s first dedicated event for server and desktop virtualization and will include such vendors as VMware, NetApp and Microsoft and takes place at Earls Court, London, 1 – 2 October. This vendor neutral event will give you the opportunity to compare the offerings of over 45 vendors and evaluate nearly 100 products in two productive days.
VM’08 will offer a dedicated education seminar program, live product demonstrations and a complete series of keynote speeches where senior industry players and thought leaders from companies including VMware, Citrix, Microsoft, Dell, AMD, Intel, EMC and Freeform Dynamics will be sharing their vision, plans and thinking on what Virtualization entails and the benefits it offers. Attendees can also benefit from free training on VDI & Disaster Recovery at vLabs where leading products by VMware and Citrix can be experienced first hand.
During the show, there will be numerous announcements from the industry such as the first UK preview of the world’s first VMware desktop appliance by IGEL Technology; Digital Service Virtualization: IGEL Technology will also give the first UK demonstration of the most revolutionary technology to hit Virtual PCs yet; and Kingston Technologies will be showcasing virtualization and security solutions.
