Prowess, a Seattle-based software and services firm, announced today that it has joined the Microsoft Partner Solutions Center (MPSC) as a project partner. The move elevates the long-standing relationship that Prowess has had with Microsoft Corp., both as a Preferred Vendor and as a Certified Partner.
IT leaders from around the globe visit the MPSC – a sprawling, 21,000 square-foot technical center on the main Microsoft campus in Redmond – to explore, plan, and test IT solutions from Microsoft and Microsoft partners. The MPSC boast a Dynamic IT environment enabled by Microsoft’s virtualization technologies.
Prowess will participate in the MPSC by providing engineering support to MPSC partners and customers, and by making its deployment software available for use in all MPSC activities.
“Prowess has a long history of deploying and supporting Microsoft infrastructure,” says Aaron Suzuki, Prowess CEO. “MPSC gives us a unique forum to combine that history with our expertise in virtualization and our pioneering deployment software tools. It allows us to more quickly create solutions for all MPSC partners and customers. We look forward to helping Microsoft and all of the MPSC constituencies prepare and deploy compelling and effective solutions using the latest technologies.”
By including Prowess in the MPSC, Microsoft and its partners can use Prowess software and services to develop and support solution briefings, design sessions, proof-of-concept labs, training, and other activities that can help customers determine the exact solution that is right for them.
"We’re delighted to have Prowess join the MPSC as a project partner," said David Hayes, director of the MPSC at Microsoft. "We believe that Prowess’ distinctive suite of innovative services and software can bring great value to Microsoft, our partners and customers inside our Dynamic IT environment. Prowess software and professional services will help drive the Hyper-V and application virtualization for our customer engagements.”
