ITVirtualizationLive Event Announces Conference Programming
1105 Media, Inc. announces the conference program for its ITVirtualizationLive conference on Dec. 9-11, 2008, at the Gaylord Palms Hotel and Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. Some 43 sessions will be held over three days, providing attendees with a content-rich educational experience and an exhibit of application and product solutions.

ITVirtualizationLive provides three major focus areas: Virtualization Planning & Implementation, Management and Best Practices. These sessions will combine how-to with strategy and product/platform evaluations. The goals are to help attendees make the best decisions for their organizations needs and budget and provide guidance for implementing their strategies.

Daily keynote presentations by the major platform vendors are intended to help attendees know how to plan their technology investments. Presentations will be provided by Citrix, Microsoft and VMware.

The general session scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 9 will be an analyst roundtable, led by Virtualization Review magazine Editor Keith Ward. This session is designed to help attendees better evaluate best-in-class technology for various applications.

Senior IT executives and manager attendees will also improve their knowledge about the different types of virtualization (server, desktop, PC, storage, network and I/O) and learn about the latest security and disaster recovery technologies.

"ITVirtualizationLives platform neutrality, broad inclusion of analysts and thought leaders and its independence will assure a balanced educational experience, said Henry Allain, President of 1105 Enterprise Computing Group.

The content for ITVirtualizationLive has been developed in collaboration with the staff of Virtualization Review magazine, in concert with the vendor, end user and analyst communities.
