Pano Logic Names John Kish as President and Chief Executive Officer
Pano Logic, developer of a server-based desktop virtualization solution, today announced the appointment of John Kish as the company's president and chief executive officer. Kish will guide Pano Logics overall strategic direction as the company establishes itself as a leader in the desktop virtualization market. Kish brings over 20 years of senior management experience in the software industry, most notably as president and CEO of Wyse, a $200M market leader in the thin client space. He also has served in senior management positions at Oracle, where he established the company's presence on the desktop. Under Kish's leadership, Oracle's Desktop Products Division grew to over 400 employees and over $400M in revenues.

Johns deep knowledge of the desktop space and extensive experience in successfully growing companies make him the ideal candidate to lead Pano Logic as it continues to re-shape the desktop virtualization marketplace, said Ashmeet Sidana, a general partner at Foundation Capital and Pano Logic board member. His exceptional industry leadership, strategic insight and solid track record are all valuable additions to the Pano management team.

Prior to joining Pano Logic, Kish served as president and CEO of BackFlip Software, a privately held SaaS company. Previously, he served as president and CEO of Cacheon, an on-demand application migration software firm located in San Francisco, and as president and CEO of Verbind, a real-time e-marketing solutions company located in Boston. Kish is a graduate of the University of Maryland and received a Ph.D. in Mathematical Logics from The Johns Hopkins University.

My goal is to extend Pano Logics position as a trusted technology leader and partner in the desktop virtualization market, said John Kish, president & CEO of Pano Logic. Its innovative and unique approach to desktop virtualization is clearly demonstrated by the significant traction the company has gained since its launch a little over a year ago. This is an incredibly exciting and critical time for the company, and I look forward to building on the existing momentum to solidify Pano Logics place as a leading desktop virtualization company.
