• Deeper Monitoring of VMware: With automation features of AppManager 7, the latest version of the VMware module includes new Knowledge Scripts® for quick and easy deployment of monitoring standards for VMware host, virtual machine and resource pool usage metrics. Metrics sourced by the module are combined with performance data from physical assets and end-user experience monitoring for a “360° view” of IT service delivery.
• Predictive Trend Analysis of VMware VirtualCenter: AppManager Performance Profiler v.4.1 (AMPP) intelligently adapts to and profiles the shifting characteristics of dynamic hybrid IT environments to detect deviations from normal performance and alert administrators to impending service-impacting issues. AMPP now includes predictive trend analysis for VMware VirtualCenter, network devices and end-user response times for improved signal-to-noise ratio and prioritized event management.
• Consolidated Reporting for VMware: Leveraging NetIQ Analysis Center v.2.7, the VMware Report Pack includes some 60 out-of-the-box templates for performance reporting beyond the standard CPU, memory, network and disk I/O metrics to aggregated performance reports of ESX hosts and guests. The combined functionality extends long-term historical reporting to better align capacity planning and continued investments in virtual technology.

NetIQ AppManager Performance Profiler v.4.1 starts at $400 per template, and the NetIQ Analysis Center VMware supplemental report pack is available at no extra cost to current NetIQ Analysis Center v.2.6 and v.2.7 customers.
