Hyper9's Rockstar Beta Program - Limited Tickets Now Available

Are you a VMware virtualization rockstar?  If so, and you want to rock out with other VI Admins and the virtualization management tool from Hyper9, check out the Beta program's minimum requirements and criteria below.

If you do meet the requirements, suit up!!  I have a limited amount of invitations to hand out, and they will be given on a first come first serve basis to those that respond and meet the requirements.  Send me an email or a post comment below to get your limited edition ticket to the Hyper9 Beta program.

Your virtualization environment needs to be VMware ESX 3.0+, you need at least one VMware VirtualCenter instance, you should have two VMware ESX host servers, and you should have at least 20 virtual machines.  And you will need to download and install the software within five (5) days of receiving the Beta software.

Users from competitor companies or affiliated with a competitor company are not eligible for participation.

Hyper9 is based on the premise that your Virtual Infrastructure management should be as easy to use as a Web-based consumer application.  The rapid growth and dynamic nature of virtual environments clearly requires a different approach. The Hyper9 beta:

  • Rapidly searches and filters across your virtual infrastructure and inside Windows guests
  • Leverages VM DNA to track configuration changes to VMs over time - help diagnose problems
  • Compares configurations between VMs for drift
  • Understands conflicts between the guest and the virtual hardware layer (e.g. MAC address conflicts)
  • Gets “at a glance” performance and health information for all of your VMs
  • Collaborates – share critical searches and leave notes for team members
  • Generates instant reports to track connected media and active Snapshots

I also sent an email through your contact form with more information. But I would like to participate in this beta program. What else do I need to do? I meet your qualifications.
