Neocleus, the leader in client-hosted virtualization, today announced the appointment of two new executives, Bill Corrigan to the position of chief marketing officer and Doron Gill to vice president, research and development. These individuals join the team as the company continues to deliver on its commitment to use virtualization to ease the challenges associated with managing and securing the client computing environment.
Bill Corrigan joins Neocleus following his successful tenure at Microsoft, where he served as director of product management for the company’s application virtualization technology following its acquisition of virtualization pioneer Softricity. At Softricity, Corrigan rebranded the company to target the significant opportunities in the virtualization market and guided product marketing as revenue grew from zero to over $20M. Besides growing revenue, Corrigan boasts a long-standing record of planning and launching successful product lines and building partner ecosystems, and has held executive sales and marketing positions at both large and entrepreneurial companies including Lotus, IBM and Calico Commerce.
Corrigan will drive Neocleus’ go-to-market strategy and product portfolio of innovative client computing solutions that address IT requirements for greater control while providing a user-friendly open environment for end users. Corrigan will be based in the United States.
Doron Gill brings extensive expertise in developing and commercializing innovative software technologies and solutions from both public and private companies including SupportSpace, Jacada, Gizmoz (formerly Zapa Digital Arts) and Scitex Corporation. He will lead Neocleus’ technology development efforts and be based in Israel.
“Neocleus is generating significant momentum and awareness for its client-hosted virtualization technology and the expansion of our team is a natural next step in the company’s growth,” said Ariel Gorfung, co-founder and CEO, Neocleus. “With strong credentials in business leadership, partnership development and enterprise-grade product delivery, Bill and Doron propel our ability to address today’s client computing challenges.”
