Veeam Software has signed a UK distribution deal with SCH Distribution (SCHD). The agreement will see SCHD’s companies – ETC, Interchange and Interface Solutions – supply Veeam’s systems management tools for VMware ESX server environments to resellers across the UK.

SCHD is the first distribution partner signed by Veeam since it launched in Europe in September 2008. Veeam reckons that its distribution deal with SCHD will give it access to a strong network of UK resellers already supplying VMware’s virtualisation platform.

Veeam claims that VMware resellers can increase both turnover and margin by offering its full portfolio of tools, which provide the ability to back-up, report, configure and monitor ESX Server environments.

In addition to a full inventory of product, Veeam Software will provide SCHD with sales, marketing and technical support to assist with educating the channel about the key benefits and market opportunities created by this new portfolio of tools.
