Pano Logic Appoints Bryan Cox as Executive Vice President of Worldwide Field Operations

Pano Logic, developer of a server-based desktop virtualization solution, today announced the appointment of Bryan Cox to the position of executive vice president of worldwide field operations. Cox will be responsible for worldwide sales, pre/post-sales engineering and global channel strategies. Cox joins Pano Logic from EqualLogic, a leader in iSCSI storage acquired by Dell in 2008, where he served as vice president of sales operations and helped double revenue in just three quarters.

“Bryan has a strong track record developing and managing sales and field operations, which will be critical areas of our business as we continue to strengthen Pano’s position as a leader in the desktop virtualization marketplace,” said John Kish, president and CEO of Pano Logic. “Additionally, his understanding of the virtualization industry and experience with emerging technologies will be a valuable asset to the Pano management team.”

Prior to EqualLogic, Cox served as vice president of worldwide sales strategy and field programs at VMware, where he helped grow the company’s annual revenue from $30M to over $700M worldwide. During his tenure at VMware, Cox drove a broad variety of activities ranging from channel strategy to sales execution, and was instrumental in growing and developing the global sales organization to include more than 1,000 people.

“The desktop virtualization market is poised for exponential growth, and Pano Logic provides an incredibly innovative solution,” said Cox. “I welcome the chance to establish Pano’s industry leadership and take full advantage of this high-growth market opportunity.”
