Radford HMY Group connected the two storage servers over isolated Gigabit Ethernet links where all disk write I/Os are replicated instantly providing total “2-N” redundancy. In this configuration an entire storage server on the SAN can fail without impact to the attached Exchange mail system or ESX hosts.
