BlueCat Networks Joins the VMware Technology Alliance Partner Program
BlueCat Networks, the IPAM Intelligence Company™, today announced it has joined the VMware Technology Alliance Partner (TAP) program. The VMware TAP program helps technology vendors integrate their products with VMware virtualization software and deliver timely, joint solutions to mutual customers.

“We are excited to welcome BlueCat Networks as the newest member of the VMware TAP program,” said Bernie Mills, senior director, alliance programs, VMware. “The VMware TAP program offers companies like BlueCat Networks the tools and resources they need to develop high-value solutions that meet the needs of our mutual customers.”

“’IPAM goes Virtual’ is a huge focus for BlueCat and we have leveraged our position as a leader in IPAM, DNS and DHCP solutions to deliver true virtual appliances that will make it simple for organizations to save power, reduce operating costs and accelerate software deployment,” said Michael Hyatt, CEO & Co-Founder of BlueCat Networks. “VMware is the global leader in virtualization software and is trusted by organizations worldwide that are looking to reduce capital and operating expenses, ensure business continuity, strengthen security and go green,” Hyatt continued. “Partnering with VMware underscores BlueCat's commitment to the virtualization market and ensures BlueCat's virtual appliances fully integrate with VMware products.”

With more than 900 members worldwide, the VMware TAP program works with best-of-breed technology partners to provide them a comprehensive set of VMware technical and marketing services, support, tools and expertise to deliver enhanced value to joint customers.

The proliferation of such technology as VoIP, Virtualization, RFID, Wireless and IPv6 is making it increasingly difficult for organizations to continue managing IP addresses with spreadsheets and homegrown solutions. BlueCat’s market-leading solutions integrate with Microsoft’s (Nasdaq: MSFT) Active Directory to eliminate network accessibility problems by making it simple and secure for administrators to centrally deploy, manage, monitor and audit IP addresses across an entire organization with an easy to use web-based interface.
