Veeam Adds New CFO
Veeam Software, award-winning provider of systems management tools for VMware virtual datacenter environments, has added William H. Largent to its executive management team in the new position of Chief Financial Officer. Largent, an experienced executive with more than 30 years in operations and leadership roles with growth companies, is based in Veeam's US headquarters in Columbus, Ohio.

"Veeam is on a very aggressive growth trajectory, with revenue and infrastructure both expanding rapidly," said Ratmir Timashev, Veeam Software president and CEO. "Bill's experience will help us manage this growth effectively to ensure continuing fiscal health, and consistent alignment with financial management best practices. His thorough familiarity with our industry and business model is an important asset."

Prior to joining Veeam, Largent provided advisory and operational assistance to a number of technology companies through his consulting business, and was CEO of Applied Innovation, Inc., a public company previously traded on the NASDAQ – National Market System. Largent also worked with Timashev and other members of the Veeam executive team at Aelita Software, where he was Chief Operating and Financial Officer. Prior to Aelita, Largent was CFO at Plug Power, where he managed the company's initial public offering with Goldman, Sachs & Co. as lead underwriter, raising more than $150 million in equity. His earlier career includes executive positions with Liebert Corporation, Metatec Corporation, and others. He began his career with Touche Ross & Co., now Deloitte & Touche.

"I'm very glad to be a part of such a dynamic company, and look forward to continuing to build on Veeam's track record of success to date," Largent said. "Even during these challenging economic conditions, virtualization remains the IT space to be in, providing economical solutions that enable a more efficient and productive computing infrastructure."
