Fortisphere hires Siki Giunta as CEO

Fortisphere Inc. has replaced Michael Harper as CEO with the hiring of Siki Giunta.  According to the Baltimore Business Journal, Giunta joined the virtualization company a month ago.

It says she was hired for her background at Managed Objects, a Northern Virginia firm bought by Novell last year.  Giunta built Managed Objects from a pre-revenue startup 10 years ago to its $50 million sale.  Prior to that, she was senior vice president of Computer Associates Marketing for OS/390 Solutions.  Giunta also sits on the boards of Layer 7 Technologies and BEZ Systems
