Today marked the launch of workspace.com, an on-demand collaborative workspace for technology teams that provides users the freedom to create their own personalized workspace. A free version is available at workspace.com and single application workspaces start as low as $10 per month.

Customers of workspace.com can choose from any combination of the following applications ("workspace apps"); Requirements Management, Project Management, Test Management, Time Management, Defect Tracking, Change Management, Document Management, or Issue Tracking. All workspace apps are built to work seamlessly together no matter what combination you choose and give users the power to have all of their critical project data together in a structured format that is collaborative, traceable, and searchable.

Mark Wesker, CEO of workspace.com explains, "Everyone has a workspace, but for most it's a jumbled mess of documents, spreadsheets, emails, and single-purpose tools that don't work together. We built workspace.com to fight this problem head-on by giving users the flexibility to choose only the apps they need and to provide them on a single platform that ensures that those apps work well together no matter which combination they choose."

To minimize cost and make sure that users never pay for more than they need, workspace.com provides users several pricing options. A "Flex Plan" sets pricing for each individual workspace app at only $10 per user per month or $250 per month for unlimited users. The company is also introducing a "Team Plan" that offers all eight workspace apps for only $35 per user per month or $1,500 per month for unlimited users. There are no long-term commitments required, although discounts are available for annual subscriptions. Both the Flex and Team plans include workspace.com's Core Services for free.
