Vizioncore Inc., the leading independent third-party provider of virtualization server management solutions, today announced that its vRanger Pro Data Protection Platform (DPP) solution was selected as a Preferred Product in the Virtual Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery category of the Virtualization Review Reader's Choice Awards.
The Reader's Choice Awards survey conducted by Virtualization Review asked readers to vote for the best-of-the best in the world of virtualization. The voting process included decisions on more than 125 products in 11 categories, ranging from application virtualization to virtualization security as well as standards and training.
In the Virtual Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery category, the magazine reported that virtualization has changed the nature of disaster recovery, and that there's no shortage of vendors trying to capitalize on the enterprise opportunities. In this category, Virtualization Review asked readers to pick their favorites among 15 products from 12 vendors.
"The vRanger Pro DPP selection by the readers of Virtualization Review demonstrates just how well the product has performed for end-users when it comes to protecting their virtualization infrastructure," said Chris Akerberg, Vizioncore's President and Chief Operating Officer. "In addition to our own internal research and development, many of the recent enhancements we've applied to vRanger Pro DPP have come from the feedback we have received from end-users. This award in the Virtualization Review Reader's Choice Awards survey shows that we have received yet another ‘vote of confidence’ from our customers that we provide a solution that very effectively meets their needs."
