ScaleMP, a leading provider of virtualization solutions for high-end computing, has been recognized as an Editors’ Choice Top 5 New Products or Technologies to Watch by HPCwire. The annual HPCwire Readers’ and Editors’ Choice Awards were presented at the 2009 International Conference for High Performance Computing, Networking, Storage and Analysis (SC09), held at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, Oregon. The list of winners was revealed by Tomas Tabor, publisher of HPCwire, at the HPCwire booth during the opening gala on Monday night.
“This award, which represents a partnership between the HPCwire global readership and our publishing team, is a salute from the global HPC community,” said Tomas Tabor, publisher of HPCwire. “Being selected as an award recipient means that you are top-of-mind with HPCwire readers, editors and luminaries in the field. I’d like to congratulate ScaleMP for being selected by HPCwire editors for a 2009 award.”
The coveted HPCwire Readers’ and Editors’ Choice Awards are determined through a survey conducted by HPCwire, online polling of the global HPCwire audience and a rigorous selection process involving HPCwire editors and industry luminaries. The awards are an annual feature of the publication and constitute prestigious recognition from the global HPC community. These awards are revealed each year to kick off the SC conference, which showcases high-performance computing, networking, storage and data analysis.
“It is an honor to receive this award by a well-regarded industry publication like HPCwire. We are pleased the editors and readers see the value in the work ScaleMP is doing and are excited about the future of our technology,” said Shai Fultheim, founder and president of ScaleMP. “With the announcement and release of a number of new products based on our award-winning vSMP Foundation technology and an increase in our partner and customer relationships, this year has been extremely significant for us. I expect the momentum to continue and predict the coming year will be a very exciting time for the high-performance computing industry.”
