The CTO Forum today announced that VMware’s Senior Director of Information Technology, Paul Chapman, has been appointed to its CIO Council Advisory Board. The CIO Council brings together senior information technology executives from leading organizations to foster discussion and collaboration regarding the advancement of technology and innovation within organizations.
“We’re thrilled to have Paul Chapman join the board,” said Basheer Janjua, founding-chair and president of the CTO Forum and CEO of Integnology Corporation. “VMware is at the cutting edge of virtualization technology so it’s great to have Paul join our discussions around breakthrough business technologies.”
Paul joined VMware in 2007 and currently heads the business applications department. He has more than 20 years of IT experience with special expertise in rapid-growth companies having worked previously for such companies as Affymetrix, Sun Microsystems, AT&T and NCR.
