VKernel releases a free tool called AppVIEW
VKernel has released a free tool called AppVIEW which can monitor your five most important VMs and allows you to see detailed data on how these applications are running in your virtual environment:
  • How much CPU, memory and storage resources are being wasted?
  • Is your disk I/O configured properly?
  • Are resources causing performance problems?

When you find performance problems and wasted resources in your VMs, AppVIEW will let you know what the problem is and provide links to Optimization Pack and Capacity Analyzer for deeper performance analysis, root cause analysis, capacity planning and resolution.

AppVIEW provides current and thirty day historical visibility to potential CPU, memory, disk and storage I/O bottlenecks for your top five application VMs. As priorities change, you can change to a different application VM and start collecting data immediately.
