Varrow today announced it is one of the first integrators certified to sell and install Vblock infrastructure packages in the Southeastern United States, and one of only 54 organizations worldwide certified to sell the Vblock.

The Vblock solutions are pre-integrated and tested infrastructure packages that bring together technologies from Cisco, EMC and VMware and deliver them as a single entity to the customer with a single line of support. They combine virtualization, networking, storage, security, and management and deliver these powerful individual components as one solution.

The Vblock was born from a coalition created by Cisco, EMC and VMware – called the Virtual Computing Environment (VCE) coalition – and promises to change the way organizations procure IT infrastructure. The Vblock will accelerate the movement to the private cloud – an enterprise-class cloud computing model designed to give organizations flexibility in their computing environment without sacrificing security and control.

Varrow’s position at the forefront of the Vblock infrastructure rollout can be attributed to the quality of Varrow’s engineering expertise at every layer of the Vblock stack. Varrow is certified at the highest datacenter level with Cisco, EMC and VMware. Varrow is a certified Cisco Datacenter Networking and Storage partner and UCS Advanced Technology Partner, a Premiere VMware partner, and was named EMC’s Commercial Partner of the Year in 2009.
