In an effort to address the regulations of Section 508 standards for accessibility to people with disabilities, VMware has perhaps inadvertently opened up part of its product roadmap for 2010.
Thanks to Eric Sloof from NTPRO.NL for first reporting on the information on Wednesday. The information has since, perhaps, been removed from VMware's site.
The list included the following:
• VMware vSphere 4.1 - the long awaited update, rumored to be feature rich and worth the upgrade for scalability gains
• VMware View 4.5 - VMware's true entry into the VDI market, said to be the first enterprise ready VDI solution by the Burton Group during Citrix Synergy 2010
• VMware vCenter Site Recovery Manager (SRM) 4.1
• VMware vCloud 1.0
• VMware vCenter AppSpeed 2.0 - VMware continues to enhance troubleshooting and performance management
• VMware vCenter Lab Manager 4.x - a long way since Akimbi. Moving Lab Manager into the cloud
