Jeff McNaught, Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer of Wyse Technology, the inventor and global leader in cloud client computing, and Dimitri Petropolis, Systems Administration Principal of Residence Life at The University of Arizona, will speak together at EduComm 2010 in Las Vegas at the Mirage hotel. Their session, entitled "Education and Virtualization: Simplicity, Security and Mobility," will detail the latest innovations in virtual desktops and an overview of how the university's Residence Life department turned to virtualization and thin clients to replace PCs in its residence halls. The university was able to improve the levels of security, lower management costs, and create a flexible and mobile computing infrastructure, all while promoting a philosophy of sustainability.
