October 5-6, 2010
The 3rd International SOA Symposium and the 2nd International Cloud Symposium continue to be the largest and most comprehensive SOA and Cloud event of the year. The two co-located conferences are dedicated to bringing together the world's leading SOA and Cloud Computing experts from around the world. This year's Symposium will be held on October 5-6, 2010 at the Berliner Congress Center in Berlin, Germany. There will also be a series of SOACP post-conference certification workshops running from October 7-13, 2010, including (for the first time in Europe) the Certified Cloud Computing Specialist Workshop.
The themes for this year's SOA and Cloud Symposium are: "Exploring Modern Service Technologies & Practices" and "Scaling Your Business into the Cloud". Separate independent Program Committees are selecting 80 presentations from internationally recognized speakers from companies such as Oracle, Microsoft, IBM, Sun, Software AG, Amazon, Google, Red Hat, Collibra, Fiorano, Capgemini, TIBCO, HP, Logica, Ordina, SOA Systems, Amber Point, Salesforce.com, US Department of Defense, Burton Group/Gartner, and Accenture. SOA and Cloud Symposium events attract expert speakers, such as Thomas Erl, Grady Booch, Anne Thomas Manes, David Chappell, Dirk Krafzig, Paul Brown, Mark Little, Toufic Boubez, Clemens Utschig, Tony Chan and many others. The chosen speakers provide new and exclusive coverage of the most relevant and critical topics in the SOA and Cloud Computing industries today.
Every SOA and Cloud Symposium event is dedicated to providing valuable content specifically for IT practitioners. Each program committee judges speaker sessions to ensure they comply with the content-driven philosophy of this conference series.
Aside from the opportunity to network with over 500 decision-makers, practitioners and 80 experts, the Symposium will host exclusive Pattern Review Committee working sessions. Additionally, this conference has been chosen for the official launch of the new SOA Governance and SOA with REST books. Authors will be on hand to participate in book signing events, and many copies of the new books, (as well as galleys with advance content from other titles currently in development) will be given away during a series of contests.
