Veeam Software, innovative provider of data protection, disaster recovery and systems management solutions for VMware virtual datacenter environments, today announced it has been selected as a finalist for the Microsoft Partner Awards in the Core Infrastructure Solutions, Systems Management Partner of the Year award category.

Awards will be presented in a number of categories, with winners and finalists chosen from a pool of almost 3,000 entrants worldwide. The Core Infrastructure Solutions, Systems Management Partner of the Year Award honors partners who have infrastructure practices with proven proficiency in implementing solutions within the last year. This award recognizes Veeam Software for its innovative solutions that help customers manage their physical and virtual information technology (IT) environments across data centers, client computers, and devices. Veeam has helped solve its customers’ complex challenges through operational efficiencies and reduced IT labor and hardware costs.

Version 5.5 of the Veeam nworks MP and PRO Pack extend VMware management in Microsoft System Center, thus leveraging and protecting investments that enterprises have made in System Center.  The new MP includes enhanced enterprise support for mission-critical VMware deployments, updated certifications, and new and improved advanced metrics. The PRO Pack utilizes the Performance and Resource Optimization (PRO) feature of SCVMM, extending SCVMM’s dynamic management of VMware environments.
